Welcome Day: August 1, 2014

The LIS Fall 2014 Welcome Day for new students  is this Friday, August 1 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm with a meet and greet and coffee and pastries available at 9:30!  All new students are expected to attend either in person or online.

For students attending in person, the event will be held in Room 118 of the School of Education (SOE) building on the corner of Spring Forest and Stirling Streets (diagonal to  Yum Yum Ice Cream Shop) and across Spring Garden Street  from the Oakland Parking Deck.  The physical address is: 1300 Spring Garden Street, Greensboro, NC 27412.

Parking is available in Walker Deck, accessible from Walker Avenue, Stirling Street, and Theta Street. An attendant is on duty & will accept cash, checks, Mastercard, and Visa. The attendant window is located on level 3 adjacent to the Stirling Street exit lane. Collaborate enables real time discussions. During the session you will be able to ask questions, text, and participate in breakout sessions.  We will also be following comments about Welcome Day posted to Facebook.  https://www.facebook.com/lisuncg

Collaborate is a Java application and may initially take a few minutes to load into a browser window. Users must have a Java enabled browser.
