Tell us about the accomplishments you are most proud of in terms of your academic, professional accomplishments, etc.

I made 1260 on the GRE after being out of school more than 25 years and am in high demand as a Media Assistant in the county I work in.
Give us a brief bio of yourself including your educational and professional background.
I am an Air Force brat, born in Nebraska and raised in Spain, Nebraska, Japaqn, Massachusetts, and North Cqrolina. Graduated as a University Scholar
(Summa Cum Laude) from Western Carolina University with a BSEd in Educationqal Media (LS/AV). I was a restaurant general manager and co-manager for 21
years and decided in was time to make a career change and get into the field I majored in at college.
Do you have a favorite saying or motto you live by? If not, please give us a concise one or two sentence blurb.

What role does your education and/or professional position play in applying library and information studies for the benefit of others and society
in general?
It is what I studied at both collegiate levels and is complemented by my service industry career background. I have always enjoyed learning things and explaining
them to others, so it seems like a good fit to me.
Favorite food and drink:
German food and milk.
Favorite song or musical group:
The End (by Earl Grant) and Jan & Dean.
Favorite movie or television show:
The Right Stuff and Twelve O'Clock High.
