LIS Department Hosts National Science Foundation (NSF) project evaluators

The UNCG LIS department is proud to host members of the STARS (Students in Technology, Academics, Research, and Service) Alliance evaluation team, a nationwide $2 million National Science Foundation project focused on broadening participation in computing and information technology.

LIS faculty member Anthony Chow is coordinator for marketing, dissemination, and evaluation for this project and will be bringing a $45,000 sub award to UNCG and the LIS department.

A general presentation about the project will be given on Wednesday April 4 from 3-4 p.m. in 309 Curry Building.
