Gerald Holmes, a Reference Librarian and Diversity Coordinator at Jackson Library, has been invited to serve on a panel at the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference 2012 in Anaheim, California. The library is the Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library of High Point, North Carolina. The Furniture Library is part of a nonprofit organization that seeks the advancement of knowledge as regards all things furniture. The current collection contains thousands of books on two floors. August 2011 Graduate, Jon-Marc Dale, recently won an audition to become part of the U.S. Air Force band. Dale holds an M.L.S., Library Studies, UNC-Greensboro, N.C. (2011), a B.M., Jazz Performance, UNC-Greensboro, N.C. (2007), and an Artist Certificate, UNC School of the Arts, Winston-Salem, N.C. (2002).
